Travis was born of a Billy Goat and a Mermaid in the mountains of Wyoming and grew taller in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Yeah...close to Mount Rushmore. He was dubbed Band Nerd at the ripe age of 10 and played his saxophone all the way through school, constantly wondering when music was going start getting him chics. He grew up on a steady diet of skateboarding and building CB radio towers out of bike rims and TV trays. A strong DIY attitude fueled his insatiable appetite for construction, a philosophy that continues to drive Travis to create some of the most interesting, if not cost effective "musical instruments" you have never heard. Travis likes listening to King Missile, LCD Soundsystem, Public Enemy, John Coltrane, Philip Glass and everything in between.
