Sticky Nevada Pale Ale
3 Gallons
22 oz can West Coast Pale ale Hopped Malt Extract
22 oz can Mr Beer Pale Malt Extract
1.75 lb Light Malt Extract
1 oz Cascade pellets 60 minutes in boil
1/4 oz Cascade pellets last 30 minutes in boil
1/4 oz Cascade pellets last 10 minutes in boil
1 tsp Spanish Sea Salt
Wyeast American Liquid Ale Yeast
1/2 cup table sugar
Boil all malt, salt and 1 oz Cascade Hops for 1 hour
add 1/4 oz Cascade 30 minutes into boil
add 1/4 oz Cascade last 10 minutes of boil
cool to 75 degrees pitch yeast
ferment for 12 days
boil 1/2 cup table sugar with water bottle and let carbonate for 10 days
Sticky Wig Weekend Light Ale
5 Gallons
4.5 Extra Light Dry Malt Extract
1.5 Lbs Bernards Cajun Acadian Clover Honey
1 Lb Rice Sugar
1 oz Saaz leaf hops- in Boil 60 minutes
1/2 oz Hallertauer Pellet Hops-in Boil 60 minutes
1/2 oz Hallertauer Pellet hops steeped in a French Press for 30 minutes added in the last 10 minutes of Boil
1/2 oz Hallertauer Pellet hops Boiled in water for 30 minutes strained with French Press added when bottling
1 tsp yeast fuel in last 10 minutes
Wyeast British Ale Yeast #1335
Primary Fermentation: 21 days
Secondary Fermentation: 7 days
Procedure:
Boil Malt extract, Rice Sugar, Honey, 1 oz Saaz and 1/2 oz Hallertauer
for 60 minutes in . French Press 1/2 oz Hallertauer for 30 minutes and add liquid from press to the last 10 minutes of boil with 1/2 oz Hallertauer and yeast fuel.
Cool to 75 degrees pitch yeast
Still fermenting slightly after 21 days so I bottled it with 1/2 cup Table sugar
